Exploring Our Collab with DLW – Unique Builds from Our Perspective

At Finemods, we love experimenting with premium-quality parts to craft unique timepieces. Our collaboration with DLW, a top-tier parts supplier from Singapore, was all about testing their newest cases and dials—bringing our designs and vision to life.

For this special project, we created exclusive builds using DLW parts only, each showcasing different styles and finishes. Here’s what we put together:

Naut Case – Sporty & Versatile

Our first build features the Naut case paired with an SKX-style dial. This combo delivers a balanced look—sporty yet versatile, making it perfect for everyday wear. We also explored more Naut-based builds, including a striking Skeleton build, which adds a modern, open-worked aesthetic.

EVO Case – A Finemods Favorite

The EVO case is easily one of our favorites. Its sharp edges, sleek design, and versatility make it an excellent base for our Royal Maroon and Neo-Vintage EVO builds. Whether dressed up or down, the EVO case just works.

GS Heritage Case – Bold & Refined

Among all the cases we used, the GS Heritage case carries the most presence. It’s bold and substantial, giving off a luxurious and powerful feel. We played with different finishes, creating builds in fully brushed, fully polished, and sandblasted variations—each offering a unique personality.

S556 Case – The Field-Ready Compact Build

The S556 case is the smallest of the lineup, making it perfect for field-style watches. For this build, we used a White SKX-style dial paired with black SKX-style hands, resulting in a clean and rugged aesthetic that feels right at home on the wrist.

S5 Vintage Case – The Statement Piece

The newest and most unique addition to DLW’s lineup is the S5 Vintage case. We’ve experimented with a few different builds using this one, and each result has been nothing short of stunning. This case brings a retro-inspired look with a modern touch, making it a standout in any collection.
